Why are paid-for critiques sent after the competition closes?

Unlike the free tick box critiques (which simply highlight strengths and weaknesses), paid-for critiques often suggest ways in which the poem might be rewritten. To avoid giving those who have paid for a critique any advantage in the current competition over those who haven't, we will delay posting of these critiques until after the competition's close.
