Edna
Eglinton
From
London, Essex, Hampshire, I finally settled in Devon 20 years ago, led
here by association with The Arvon Foundation. I was secretary of the
Friends of the Arvon Foundation for several years.
I
started writing while in Portsmouth, after my husband had died and my
children were settled in their own homes, and where I belonged to the
Portsmouth Poetry Society (among other things). After moving to Devon I
became part of the Company of Poets until a few years ago, when I needed
to slow down a bit.

I
have had work published in many magazines and anthologies, including
children's books, won a few prizes and made it to the runner-up list of
several competitions.
Two
booklets of my poems, How are your Spirits? and Forever Panto,
are published by the Old School Press Bondleigh, as is Hands Together,
a shared collection with David Santer.
